            <title>SD Poemcast: Flight</title>
            <link>http://www.safedigression.org/media/safedig_020705_sexton.mp3</link>
<description>Tonight I think I'm going to be slightly indulgent and go with Anne Sexton, one of my favorites. She seems to be a love-her-or-hate-her kind of poet, which I suppose is fair. But I have a black and white framed postcard of her on my wall, where she is pictured with her feet up and her chair tipped back sitting at a desk -- much as I am most of the time. While our outlooks on life are (thankfully) different, I find her work very compelling and inspirational. Plus, she wrote a lot about my hometown.
