Add this to another station Open Lines, Sunday, 12-22-24 (13.30MB; download) -- Welcome to our last Open Lines program for 2024. I announced plans for a Zoom program change for when I travel but also for Friday programs. More details will follow as the program launches but the basics are spelled out on this program. Several listeners called in with their 2025 space resolutions or wish lists. See if what the callers said matches your 2025 wish list. Please post on the blog. Ft. Worth John called about the drone situation and both John and myself put forth some ideas as to who is doing what and from where. Marshall called in with his own drone theory. Fremont Rick called in re SpaceX and other matters before us and then Fremont John called us with space settlement on his wish list. This led to a discussion about the National Space Policy, Congress and changing the NASA Charter. From this call, Michael Listner called in re the National Space Policy and his 2015 program that was one of the all time bests on TSS. To have NASA officially focus on space settlement, it would take Congress. Michael explained the process to us and this call then rounded out our program for the day.
